Recycling Solution

Each year, 65 million printer cartridges are sold in the UK.
It is estimated that only 15% of these are reused or recycled, equating to approximately 9.75 million cartridges per annum. That means the remaining 55 million cartridges are discarded to landfills. The plastic contained within ink and toner cartridges can take 1000 years to fully decompose in a landfill.

We operate a free and uncomplicated ink and toner collection service to help you cut your businesses CO2 emissions. We will even collect your old mobile phones.

Over 85% of what’s collected is remanufactured in the UK to provide cost effective alternative products, just like some products within our 5 Star range. Less than 1% of the items that cannot be remanufactured or recycled due to damage are broken down and used to make new life products.

Whether you have just one, or hundreds of units, we will work with you to dispose of these in a responsible manner

Step 1 – Implement

There are two main options; freepost envelopes or collection bins. We can send you freepost envelopes which are ideal for sending back low quantities of inkjet cartridges or mobile phones. Alternatively, if you need to return a number of items or large toner cartridges, we can send collection bins for you to strategically place around the workplace. We will discuss your requirements and advise the best solution for your business.

Step 2 – Fill up

Once we have implemented the right solution for your business, we will leave you to fill the collection bins or freepost envelopes.

Step 3 – Return

When your collection bins are full, simply drop us an email or give us a call and we will arrange for them to be picked up from your business. Alternatively, you can post them back using our freepost envelope service.

Step 4 – Recycle

Once your cartridges and mobile phones are received they will be remanufactured or recycled, saving them from up to 1000 years in a landfill.
